Don't Believe The Hype!

4" For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?" 1 John 5:4-5

Looking back at the start of your journey on today, you've had to (some of us) coax yourself out the bed, and push yourself to make the transition to work. Sometimes the stress, troubles in marriage, relationship with children's estranged father or the steadfast bill collector is more hard work and appears to be humongous in size and weight, so you just ignore the call, the conversation, call in sick, or just mute it out your mind completely. It's in the category of the things you would rather not at the present moment discuss or talk about because it just opens the door to drama!

Yeah, I know, these are the things that cause us stress, and they unfortunately  are usually the first things that hit us in the face in the morning!  Somebody has their clock on ruin your day alarm because they are in a sour mood and have nothing but nasty attitude for you today, no matter how nice you are, it's  like they just get more indignant. My sister, my sister, you are bending with the weight of life's issues on your back but you will not break! You have already overcome each and every situation in your day, you are victorious. Don't  look at the size of the mountain, but remember who made it,  because he is the one who garuntees your victory because of your faith!

"DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!"

The issues and pressures are real but remember you have already overcome them. So don't  allow anyone to place the weight on you because they can't  handle their own stuff, tell them to give it to Jesus for you are already standing on top of your own, in victory!

Prayer:

Father I thank you for giving me victory in every situation in my life through Jesus Christ. I give you praise for your strength being made perfect in my life and for keeping me from breaking under the pressures of life.  You deserve the glory and the honor in Jesus mighty name amen!

Don't Give Up! Be Ferocious! Friday April 10, 2015

18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. Romans 8:18-19

There is much difficulty in the journey, in becoming whom God has predestined for you to be. The hills get steeper, the valleys become deeper and the wilderness seems wilder than it was before.  But hang on in there!  I say Don't Give Up!  It is not just you that has to become but all of creation is in the process of becoming.  Just as Jesus was the first fruit of all the brethren you are the first fruit of the transformation of the whole creation.  You must lead by example and the rest will follow.  continue to be transformed through your suffering, dying to your flesh and exposing the mystery of God even in your character.  The trees are constantly shedding, purging and being pruned by the seasons, the grass dies and comes back the stars fall from the sky when they die and yet everyday we fail to see the dying even in our selves.  But you are dying, your cells, your blood, your flesh is dying daily in the natural, and even as you continue to grow by feeding yourself spiritually in prayer and study and obeying the spirit, your flesh is dying to it's power, no longer having as much control as it use to and being more obedient to the Power of the Spirit!!!!!!!!

Don't Give Up! Be ferocious in your pursuit of the transformation, don't allow the weakness of your flesh to be an excuse of why you give in, grow weary, but be steadfast in the process of becoming that at your moment of revealing, all creation will see His glory revealed in you!!!!!!!!!! 

Do You Like Me? I Love Me! Thurs. April 9 2015

"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." John 15:18

In the chaos and turmoil of the world. All the natural and man made disasters, wars, hatred because of gender, faith, race, sexual origin, murder without cause. I could go on and on but I'll  stop right there.  The world is a mess all over, but it is fueled by its disdain for truth, right and God our creator.  See the world is fallen and dark, believes that it's  way is right, justified and that it can actually heal it's self by continuing in this broken system and cycle wickedness, which is insanity.

Thank God that your eyes have been opened by you having an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. You are now able to see the hamster wheel the world is trapped in, but because of that, they hate you.  It's like you are the crab that made it out the pot and they are pissed! Why? Because they see the light that you carry, the truth comes with you into the dark places and shines the light on their sinfulness. To be honest that is a painful thing to the world, their pride is shattered and they are proven wrong, shown that there is a God that created everything and formed a system for it to operate and live by. So they hate you, because of what you believe, what you have seen and what you reveal to those that are being delivered from the darkness! 

Don't be afraid of men and there faces, Jesus said he did not come to bring peace but a sword. There will be rejection from the world because you are not of it, there will be persecution because they fear what tears down or comes against what they call their truth.  Ever noticed, No other religion has it's believers persecuted, killed, imprisoned or attempted to be discredited like the Christian faith? It's because of the power of the gospel, and the light of his glory that reveals the sinful hearts, thoughts and deeds of mankind. Nothing is hidden from God and through the light they can see their own sin!

So be encouraged knowing that you are a light bearer, and a vessel of deliverance for all those you reveal the gospel to, let God continue to use you and know that If the world hates you its because they first hated Christ and you are his representative in the earth. So if they don't like you, SO WHAT! You like you because GOD LOVES YOU!

Prayer:

Father in the name of Jesus, give me the continued strength and steadfastness to stand for what is right and to be a light bearer of the truth regardless of what the world or anyone else says. I will stand and represent you in my school, on my job, in my home, my community and everywhere I go, I will lift you up in Jesus name amen.

Give it up, Turn it Loose! Wed. April 8, 2015

11) And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.12) And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. Luke 13:11-12

Complacency and familiarity can become horrible crutches in our lives. We get use to certain things being a certain way for years and though they are bad, we no longer desire a change like we once did, no, we have chosen to adapt to the circumstance and we just go with the flow.  Well that works for some people, but it no longer works for me!

I use to be content with my life a certain way, getting up in the morning, going to work, coming home, going to bed and back to work. But then I realized there was more to life, more to faith, more to accomplish and I started to believe God literally for what He said.  God gave me a vision to start an outreach program for troubled and at risk youth, never thought of it or done it before in life, but here was this plan. I stepped out on faith and began to do things I never thought possible, with no formal education, all because I believed God!

I decided I did not want to spend the next year's of my life just existing, but I wanted to truly live out my days in pursuit of purpose. The woman in our scriptures was content with her circumstances, even when Jesus told her she was loosed of her infirmity, she did not take it upon herself to stand up, no, it was not until He laid hands on her that she actually believed she was able to have what he spoke.

I submit to you today my sisters, that if you can just believe God for what he said, you can have it, walk into it, come out of it, be healed of it, delivered from it, and or accomplish those great things he put in your heart to do. Don't  keep waiting for someone else to tell you it's possible,  step out on your faith in God and know that all things are possible.

So in closing, no more tug a war with your faith, stop fighting with God and give up your mundane way of thinking and your familiar comfortable way of being and LIVE in pusuit of the Greatness God desires for your life!  You are rich in blessing, rich in knowledge, rich in opportunity,  rich in purpose, rich in faith and rich in power. God released his word now operate according to what he said by giving up the old way, Turing loose your way and  pushing yourself into His promise!

Time To Break Out The Box!

Give It One More Chance! Tues. April 7, 2015

"Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 7) Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 8 )And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it 9) And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. Luke 13:6-9

The number 3 is prophetic in it's  symbolizing Resurrection, and it operates as a "sign-post" in Scripture study for the reader to "pay attention" to the significance of the next event.

So pay attention!
Things may seen unproductive, they may seem hopeless or as nothing in your eyes,  but do not despise the day of small beginnings. What seems dead right now, that God spoke or destined in your life, just dig around it (remove the dry unhealthy dirt, break up the hard places) and put some dung( fairh, fertilizer, Prayer,  remind yourself again of what God said) on it, and watch it produce!  Sometimes we just need a new perspective, so with that being said, "Give it one more chance!"

Prayer:
Father God in the name of Jesus, give me clarity of vision that I see again what you spoke concerning me. That I stand still and see you do a marvelous work by working my faith and producing patience in my life. I trust you and believe your word, and I am waiting to see what's  going to happen next. AMEN!

Nothing Can Hold You Down! Mon. April 6, 2015

" And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre." Luke 24:2

Words have power but only if you accept them. The bible tells us that, " Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and them that love it will eat of it's  fruit." We must be careful not to allow the words of others to kill us, to oppress us or to cause us to forget who and whose we are.

Dig a hole in the ground for every word someone has spoken against you and release that emotion and the person.  Words can be very hurtful, they can cause you to be trapped or you can begin to speak life over yourself so that those words of cursing are reversed and you shed off the death clothes and walk away from those things that had you buried in sorrow, depression,  bitterness, hatred and stagnation.  Roll the stone away from the sepulchre and reverse the curse, you are not dead, you're not finished, you're  not worthless, you're not useless, you are not a loss cause, ugly or stupid, you are blessed, favored, beautiful, gorgeous, anointed, intelligent, priceless, valuable, and you were worth all the blood, sweat and tears Jesus shed for you on the cross. He did it so that you can live in abundance, and because of that,  Nothing Can Hold You Down!  No abusive or controlling relationship, no past mistakes, no opinions of others, no sickness and no failures, The stone is rolled away, step out of what the enemy tried to bury you in and walk into your Future!

Rise Up and Break Out! Fri. April 3, 2015

"13 So brace up your minds; be sober (circumspect, morally alert); set your hope wholly and unchangeably on the grace (divine favor) that is coming to you when Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is revealed.
14 [Live] as children of obedience [to God]; do not conform yourselves to the evil desires [that governed you] in your former ignorance [when you did not know the requirements of the Gospel].
15 But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living."
1 Peter1:13-15

We are to live in this world but not of it. Human kind some of the world but we are of the Kingdom of Heaven.  We are different, set in a different mold, one that is constantly changing yet still the same.  The mold of the world could never make someone like you because it would not fit all you are. Your mold is always transforming according to the Lords purpose for your life. Every shift takes you deeper and higher at the same time. No wonder the world always looks at you crazy, because your sight, your hearing and your understanding is on a different level and you didn't  need a formal  education to get it just, the Holy Ghost!

Don't  allow the barriers and boundaries of this world to dictate the possibilities that the Lord has granted you through relationship with him. Don't attempt to please them because they will never understand you and will only attempt to cause you to conform to their mold. RISE UP AND BREAK OUT! The Lord has given you limitless potential and with Him on your side, "all things are possible."
You are of the Spirit, walk in it!
