The Promise Is Still In Effect

"That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."Hebrews 6:12

The promise is still in effect!  With all the drama of life,  the mountains, the valley's, the dry places and the flooded places we sometimes find ourselves in a place of discontentment. There we are asking God, when is this going to end?   You feel weighted down with all the issues of life, the test, the trials, the spiritual warfare!

I know, I know, I've been through it and periodically go through it, it is the testing of our faith. James said it best, "My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3)Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." James1:2-3

God is working patience, strength and filling us with more of His Spirit so that He gets us closer to the promise. We must persevere  so that we become perfect lacking nothing, taking a page from the saints mentioned in Hebrews 11 and those eluded to in Hebrews 6, through all your difficulties God is getting the mess out and filling you with more of his goodness, taking your weaknesses  and giving you His strength so that you can patiently endure and see the manifestation of the promise in your life!

You were created to be creative. There is a passion, a drive, a fervent desire or hunger inside you that can only be fulfilled by doing that thing God created you to do.
   Underneath all the difficulties, the struggles you have had to endure you understand that you must create. It is inevitable. You are a creative genius waiting to be unlocked and the Holy Spirit has the key to unlock the power of multiplication inside you.

Draw close today and aspire to find that inner genius that had been locked inside. God said, " I give you knowledge to obtain wealth" unlock that financial treasure, the witty ideas or invention that is trapped in you. There is more to you than meets your own eye, now fill the earth with the power of your Creativity!

Prayer:
Father you have given me power to bring about fruit to your glory by giving me the ability to create and fill the world with the glory you have given unto me by uour spirit. Help me to show forth your wisdom, your love, and your goodness by what I do and say with what you have given me in Jesus name, Amen.

It's All in the Sauce! Wed. March 25, 2015

                               It's All In the Sauce!
"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;[a]
Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well."Psalm 139:14

The sauce is the inspired touch of a precise Creator, Chef or Master of food engineering.  It is his/ her signature specialty that has secret ingredients that will never be revealed to any one.  Being a  person that loves to cook, as well as eat.  I have determined that in all the dishes I have tasted, pizza's, pastas, sandwiches, barbecue, Hot wings, seafood, etc, it was not the meats, breads or vegetables on the plate, but the sauce that really made the dish delicious.  If you don't have good sauce than the dish is tasteless, bland and won't be eaten again.  Kinda like we are as people!  If we don't have any seasoning we are worthless, tasteless, bland and will not be tasted again.

Well God has made the ultimate in secret sauces when he crafted and formed you.  No one not even you will every know all that he put into your creation, your purpose, your gifts and your talent.  You are like a tootsie roll pop, until you get to the center you never know what's inside.  God had all of creation in mind when He took the most precious of ingredients and put them together in a secret sauce just for you, your DNA is a complex sauce, your blood is a complex sauce, your brain is a complex sauce. You are not identical to another, you stand alone.  This is why Your flavor (the way you think or do things) is different than others, your fire may be hotter than others( pressures of life, learning and trials), your road a little more difficult than others, but when it's all over you know his works to get you to be who he created you to be are "Marvelous!"

Prayer:
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, thank you for creating me and giving me the secret sauce to bring your glory.  Lord help me to not complain about the trials, difficulties that I have had to endure in my life, or judge others because of what they have endured.  I understand that I am unique in my own creation, the path you have set before me and even the things that I must go through to become the powerful women of Purpose you have created me to be, so Lord, I ask for more "Sauce" to walk out my journey that you would be glorified being content with the purpose you have created in me, in Jesus name, Amen.

"And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her."     Luke 1:38

When things happen in life that catch us by surprise there is confusion, anger, and alot of questions in our mind.
Mary had an encounter with the angel Gabriel who had brought her some astonishing news.  She was a virgin, but yet she was chosen to be impregnated by the Holy Spirit, so that "Jesus" the Son of God can bring salvation to the world. Now the problem was she was unmarried and in their culture, unmarried and pregnant was a death sentence!

You are pregnant!  God has called upon you today to tell you that You are pregnant and that you are going to bring forth something sooo powerful into the earth that it will change the world! It will open the eyes of the blind, unstop the ears of the death, make the lame to walk and the dumb to talk, it will even raise that which was dead back to life again, Wow! That is some Power!
God has an appointed time to set you up and apart, Mary understood the weight and importance of the mantle that was placed upon her. She could've said no, but the lives, deliverance, and healing of others was worth all she would have to go through to birth Salvation to the world! What are you willing to endure for others freedom?
Your pressure, pain, testing and struggles is because of the power in your womb, the enemy wants to kill it before it is brought forth, but the Lord has you covered!  Power is growing inside you. Don't abort it, I need the power inside you to come forth!Submit to God’s will and accept your assignment:

"Behold the handmaid of the Lord......."

Prayer:
Father in the name of Jesus, you know the plans that you have for me, and the anointing you have placed on my life. Help me to continue to be strengthen as I continue to say yes to your will. It's not about my understanding of everything but my trust in you to supply all of my needs. Lord I thank you for your power manifesting in my life, that I may be a blessing to others in Jesus name, Amen.

There is Greatness in You! March 23, 2015

" And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS."
                        Luke 1:31

Before the earth was formed, God had you in mind. Matter of fact the reason why it was even created was because He already had you in mind. God knows and created great purpose for you, an assignment that he has planted on the inside of you.  As you continue to walk with God obeying the Holy Spirit, that thought that there is something great in causes that seed to germinate and starts the process of growth.

Mary had no Idea that there was a seed of great purpose inside until her encounter with God's heavenly messenger awakened the dormant seed. If no one told you before, I am telling you now, "There is greatness in you!"  All you have to do is believe it, continue to seek the Lord and obey his spirit and God will bring it to pass in your life.

Declaration:  THERE IS GREAT PURPOSE IN ME!

Prayer: 
Father God, thank you for this day and thank you for my purpose! I believe there is something great in me that you will reveal in your time but until then Lord help me to be obedient to your spirit and to continue to seek you through your word and prayer in Jesus name, amen!

He Believes In You! March 22, 2015

" And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God." 
                            Luke 1:30

God is fully aware of your strengths and weaknesses, more than you are aware of them. He knows what you are capable to handle and what can cause you to fall. Know that when God chose you, he was fully aware of your upbringing, your education, your financial status and your struggles. He did not choose you because your were perfect and had it all together, no, he chose you because he knows what you are able to accomplish inspite of all of the above.

 Have no fear as you continue to walk with God,  times will get difficult, you may experience loss, may have to run for your life, but so did Mary. If God be for you, who can stand against you? God is able to protect his favored you, just follow his lead!

Prayer:

Father in the name of Jesus, give me the wisdom I need to walk in your perfect peace and your perfect love, for your word declares that perfect love casts out fear. I know that you believe that I can do it, so help my unbelief today. I want to trust you and not lean to my own thinking, so order my steps that I may follow your path. In Jesus name amen.

He Has Favored You! March 21, 2015

"And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women."
                        Luke 1:28

In society, we often feel alone as if we are rejected or cast off from others especially as it relates to our faith in God.  Although we may not be popular, or have family and friends around, God is always there, walking, and watching us. 

Mary was a regular, no one spectatcular young lady, but she was favored by God. God took what others had overlook as someone with not alot to offer,  and made her the most well known woman in history! 

God has Favored you and is with you. Expect great things in your days, weeks, months and years to come as you continue to walk with him and leave the opinions of others behind.
"You are highly favored, the Lord is with thee and you are blessed among women!"

Prayer:
Father in the name of Jesus please help me to accept what you say about me, by rejecting the opinion others towards me that I may walk in your favor and blessings knowing that you are with me, in Jesus name, Amen.
